Facebook

I'm not really fond of all those social networks, especially those local ones (I mean russian). But then I got an invitation to join Facebook from one of my friends I got to know 4 years ago in Cologne (Germany). We were studing german there and we had an incredible month with people from Spain, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia... I really miss that time. So I took the chance and signed up. And I found all those people there. The russian girl is married to a spanish boy now and lives in Madrid, the Mexican works with Volkswagen back in Mexico, the Italian is now in Austria... And now I want to go and visit them all.

I found another person there. He's a turkish boy we got aquainted with when having a holiday, he studied in the US then. That trip was also much fun, so I'm glad he remembered me. Now he lives in Istanbul.

The thing I like the most about modern life is that you can find yourself in a completely different place with completely different people around you, and you can have a lot of fun, learn lots of new things. And then, after several years, you can still meet those people as if you talked to them only yesterday.
